Who we are

We are an active group of bi-lingual parents with children in the international sections at College Mignet and/or the Lycee Georges Duby, Luynes.

What we do

• We provide a link between families, staff and authorities of the international sections
• We provide information on school and educational issues and events.
• We represent parents’ opinions in relation to decisions made by the authorities.
• We maintain a website providing up to date information.
• We are involved with registration and organisation of GCE exams.
• We organise extra curricular activities for example the Debate Club, culminating in the participation of a Model United Nations Conference in London

We organise throughout the year fund raising events to provide:

• Books for the College and Lycee
• Cultural outings, eg theatre trips, Thanksgiving Lunch
• Educational events, eg participation in the Model United Nations Conference ( London )
• End of year outing for troisième students
• Coffee Mornings to welcome and inform new and returning parents
• Cheese and Wine, Gallette des Roi evenings
• Annual Garden Party, an opportunity for new and current families to become acquainted
