Pupils in Seconde or Première may sit a variety of GCE «O » Levels for International pupils or, since 2005, an International GCSE in English Literature. More and more students from all classes are sitting these examinations which are specifically designed for International students every year.In May 2005 students sat exams in 9 different subjects including English, Geography, French, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, German, Spanish, and Italian. The results were very pleasing especially when the students were covering what would normally be 2 years work in the course of one year. On average each student who wishes to take the exams is now sitting 3 GCEs
2005 was the first year for the section to prepare the IGCSE in English Literature with the satisfaction of seeing 100% pass rate for those who sat the exam. Some help is given to those preparing science exams by the FLE science teachers at the Lycée. These are British exams and are recognised by British Universities. For more information on the GCE exams see the Edexcel website http://www.edexcel.org.uk/
